About Berta

Berta Biondic is a contemporary artist and live illustrator with roots in Toronto whose work explores fashion, architecture, atmosphere, and modern nostalgia.

Influenced by editorial imagery, vintage glamour, and popular culture, her paintings capture movement, elegance, and the emotional texture of contemporary life.

Before focusing on her independent art practice, Berta spent years in design and product development at Hudson's Bay, where she developed private-label collections and collaborated with brands including Martha Stewart, GlucksteinHome, and Roots.

Now a resident artist at Gladstone House, she creates both studio works and live illustrations for cultural events, galas, and brand experiences.

Her work bridges fine art, fashion, and storytelling through a distinctly cinematic lens.
